Jhene Aiko is an American R&B/Pop singer who was born into a multicultural family in Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Christina Yamamoto, is Japanese, Spanish, Afro-Dominican and her father, Dr. Karamo Chilombo, is African American, Jewish, Native American (Yaqui, Choctaw, Cherokee, Navajo). d.Eventually Stokes heard her sing. When B2K signed with Epic Records, she was signed as well. She was also the opening act for B2K on the Scream Tour 3.
I must say I love, love, love, her voice !! I jumped on the Jhene fan wagon a little late, I discovered her way after B2K had split on youtube and this girl can sing !! Do I feel she gets enough recognition. . . NO ! But that's why I do artist of the day, so I can expose artist and bands that I feel deserve it.
